My blog title does not reflect where I shall go in the afterlife.
It is a reflection of how large-firm lawyers view small-firm lawyers. I had a client who engaged a large firm on a High Court matter. The fees that they charged were too high and he discharged them. He was told that he could "engage any damned Chinatown lawyer!" he wished.
And so my client engaged this "DAMNED Chinatown lawyer"!
I have CC (you know who you are) to thank for this great idea. She thinks that I would be the first family lawyer in Singapore to blog about family law.
